Dr. Ashutosh Mishra is a Professor at Dr. BR Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat. His academic contributions have earned him recognition and accolades, including the prestigious Soul of India Award 2023 bestowed by the House of Lords, United Kingdom. Academic and Administrative experience As a distinguished educationist, he serves as a Member, Board of Governance, Sainik School Society, under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. His commitment to research is evident through his role as the Project Investigator for two research projects sponsored by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. His works extends to legislative realms, having previously served as the Project Investigator for a research project on Mediation, sponsored by the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India. The outcomes of this endeavour have left a lasting impact, with observations and recommendations from the report finding expression in the provisions of the recently passed Mediation Bill by the Hon’ble Rajya Sabha. His administrative capabilities shine through his tenure as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at the Delhi School of Public Policy & Governance, an Institution of Eminence (IoE), University of Delhi. Dr. Mishra’s expertise has also been sought by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, where he was nominated to an advisory committee for the development of the research course at DAIC (Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar International Research Centre), Government of India, New Delhi. Adding legal insight, he has served as a member of the evaluation committee as a legal expert in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Office of Controller of Certifying Authorities, New Delhi. His role as a director has seen the successful organization of International Conference on Mediation, conducted in collaboration with the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, garnering participation from esteemed speakers worldwide. Notably, Dr. Mishra’s literary contributions manifest in his role as an author and editor of books on mediation, with endorsements from the then Hon’ble Chief Justice of India. His multifaceted involvement extends to matters of national significance, evident in his membership in the Cyber Security Task Force at NIELET, Ministry of IT, Government of India.
