The University is situated in the Rajiv Gandhi Educational City, Rai, Sonepat where more than thirteen renowned educational institutions and universities have been established and are functional. The location provides a perfect positive and friendly environment for education besides overall development of students. The University has firmly resolved to impart advanced legal education, practical legal skills and inter disciplinary understanding, keeping in view the requirements of a just and equitable society.
As a National Law University is the only university in this state from where students will acquire legal education and work as a legal expert, good advocate and become judges.He also said that till now a five-years B.A.LL.B. course of law is being conducted in the university, along with this, a three-year course of law will also be started in the university from the next coming session.He said that along with legal education, we will start giving efficient practical training to the students through Professor of Practice and experts from industry under the new National Education Policy, which will increase their confidence and they will be able to provide justice to the public without fear. For this, we will try to make those villages litigation free by organizing awareness camps related to legal education in the villages adopted by the university and people will also be informed about the new laws of the present by our students.He added that an auditorium with a capacity of 1500 seats will also be constructed in the university with an approximate cost of about 59 crores. Apart from this, the statue of Swami Vivekananda will also be unveiled on the occasion of the foundation day of the university on 26 April 2025.Finally, he said that every effort will be made to take the Law University to new heights in future.
